Council housing

The Local Government Transparency Code 2015 requires councils to publish details of the value of their council homes.

You can download a table showing the number of council homes owned by Warwick District Council - including their market and social housing values.

There are two valuation types for council homes which are:

  • Existing use value for social housing (EUVSH) – this is the value of the property to a potential purchaser with an existing tenant, based on its existing use of social housing.
  • Market Value – This is the open market value of the property if it were to be sold on the open market without a tenant.

This information is being published for information purposes only and is not intended to suggest that tenancies should be ended to realise the market value of council homes.

The information contained within this document complies with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the data has been adjusted so that it does not disclose, or is capable of disclosing, valuation information for any individual properties.
