Sign up online to pay by direct debit. Most people pay by direct debit. We have a choice of payment dates available: 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th of the month.

*Payments made by credit card using website or freephone will incur a 2% charge. There is no charge for payments made by debit card.

Pay in person

Take your bill and payment to any Post Office or PayPoint outlet.

WDC payment card

By using your plastic payment card at any Post Office or PayPoint Outlet. Payments made by Cheque or Credit/Debit Card at PayPoint are at the discretion of the retailer and may incur a charge.

Help to pay your bill

If you are in receipt of Income Support, Job Seekers Allowance, Pension Credit or on a low income, you may qualify for a reduction in your council tax. This is called council tax reduction. You may also get help if you are of pension age and share your home with another adult, or adults, who are on a low income. This is called second adult rebate. This is not available to those who are not of pension age. If you think you may qualify contact us straight away. Any delay could lose you benefit.
