Radford Semele Neighbourhood Plan
The Radford Semele Neighbourhood Development Plan (RSNDP) was 'made' (adopted) by Warwick District Council on 12 May 2021. This followed a referendum on 06 May 2021, in which 97% of votes cast were in favour of the neighbourhood plan. The Radford Semele Neighbourhood Development Plan will now be used in the consideration and determination of planning applications within Radford Semele.

Examination
The Examination of the Radford Semele Neighbourhood Development Plan (RSNDP) is now complete. The Examination report with a separate appendix was received on 29 December 2020. The report recommends a number of modifications to the Submission Version of the RSNDP. Subject to these modifications being made, the Examiner has recommended that the neighbourhood plan may proceed to referendum. Warwick District Council has taken the decision to accept all of the recommendations within the Examination Report, and the Decision Statement is available below. The Radford Semele Neighbourhood Plan will now proceed to referendum on 06 May 2021.

Submission Plan
Radford Semele Parish Council (the Qualifying Body) formally submitted the Radford Semele Neighbourhood Plan (RSNP) to Warwick District Council as the Local Planning Authority. The RSNP was subject to a period of public consultation in accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations. The consultation period was substantially extended in light of disruption brought about by the Covid 19 pandemic, and ran for a period of 12 weeks between 26 May 2020 and 18 August 2020.

Regulation 14 consultation
Radford Semele Parish Council has carried out a public consultation on the draft Radford Semele Neighbourhood Plan, in accordance with Regulation 14 of the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations. The consultation ran between 24 June 2019 and 05 August 2019.
SEA Screening
A Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Screening Opinion was prepared in respect of the draft Radford Semele Neighbourhood Plan (preferred options draft). This is available below, along with the responses from the statutory bodies. It is concluded that no SEA is required.

Neighbourhood area designation
The Radford Semele Neighbourhood Plan Area was designated on 29 December 2016. Radford Semele Parish Council was the relevant body that applied for the designation.
