Warwick Building ControlThe Building Control section at Warwick District Council is made up of 8 Building Control Officers and support staff. The primary role of the section is to deal with applications made under the building regulations. This is not however our sole activity. Building Control also provides the following services;

  • Dangerous Structures - Inspection, advice and instigation of remedial works (immediate response)
  • Demolitions - Inspection and advice within 2 working days
  • Access for the disabled - Inspect and advise within 2 working days 
  • Safety at sports grounds - Inspect and advise within 2 working days
  • Temporary stands and structures - Inspect and advise within 2 working days
  • Cinema and Theatre licensing - Inspect and advise within 2 working days
  • Houses in multi-occupation - Inspect and advise within 2 working days
  • Fire precautions / fire safety - Inspect and advise within 2 working days
