The Low-Cost Low-Carbon Energy Programme is the part of the Council’s Corporate Strategy that seeks to lower energy bills and reduce carbon emissions from buildings across the district, including:
- private residents in their homes, both owner-occupiers and those renting
- tenants in our Council homes
- our own public buildings
- new housing developments in progress across the district
Officers from different areas of the Council are working together to bring forward projects and initiatives under this Programme, all with the common goal of lowering energy bills and reducing carbon emissions from our buildings.

- Energy saving lighting at St Peter's car park
