Search Tips
Including Highways information in the search results
In certain areas, particularly where new development has taken place and the road is yet to be adopted, there may be Highway Act registrations to consider.
In these situations the registrations are displayed by default with a yellow tint to indicate where they are.

Therefore if the property is located on or near a road that is yet to be adopted, the defined search polygon should be extended to include the road. This will ensure the highway results are displayed. |
Tree Preservation Orders
In a similar way to the highways information, tree preservation orders are also displayed by default.
Therefore if a TPO is not directly within the curtilage of the search address, but is in close proximity, an informed decision can be made on whether to extend the defined search polygon, thus including it in the results.

This example shows how the search boundary has been amended to incorporate a TPO that is in close proximity to the rear boundary. |
Clearing/removing unwanted search polygons
Should any errors occur when defining the search area or incorrect points placed on the map, they'll need to be cleared before attempting to continue. In most instances, clicking the 'Clear Map' button on the toolbar will remove any part drawn/unwanted search polygons that haven't been completed.
