Reviewing the feedback

The Environmental Protection team is currently analysing all the survey data, comments, and formal representations received to understand the community’s views and specific concerns.

Cabinet report

We will compile these findings into a comprehensive report. This report will recommend the most appropriate Smoke Control Area boundary option for Warwick district ensuring it balances local needs with our statutory duty to improve public health.

Final decision

The recommendation will be presented to the Council’s Cabinet for review and formal approval.

Implementation and updates

Once the Cabinet makes a final decision, we will publish the outcome directly on this webpage. If a new or amended Smoke Control Order is approved, we will provide public guidance on the new boundaries, the timeline for the statutory legal notices, and what the rules mean for your household before any changes come into effect.
