Insurance and risk management

The Audit and Risk Team arrange and manage all aspects of insurance and operational risk management for the council. 

Warwick District Council has a range of insurances to protect its assets and the interests of the council tax payer.

As required by our code of procurement practice and EU regulation the insurance policies are regularly put out to competition to ensure that we are obtaining best value and this was last done in 2012. 

Risk Management is a key element of the service we provide and is an essential tool in identifying, minimising and controlling losses particularly those that directly impact on budgets and service delivery.
