Access

Essential carers accompanying customers who would otherwise be unable to attend are offered tickets free of charge. Proof of eligibility may be required. Wheelchair positions are always charged at the lowest price available.

If you have any specific seating or access requirements please speak to our Box Office staff who will pleased to assist you and offer advice.

The layout for events at the Town Hall varies considerably, and our box office team should be consulted if you have any concerns. All levels of the Town Hall are accessible via a lift.

Hearing enhancement

The Main Auditorium is equipped with an infra-red hearing enhancement system for use with in-ear headsets or portable induction loops which work with hearing aids. Both are available from the Box Office free of charge.

Wheelchair users

Up to 6 wheelchair positions are available at the front of the Stalls in the Main Auditorium and up to 3 in the back row of the Studio / Cinema. Wheelchair positions can be booked in advance through our Box Office or by filling in the Accessible Seating Request form when booking online.

There is a lift to the balcony level and accessible toilets located on all floors. There is level access to Row A-G in the Main auditorium and Row M in the Studio / Cinema.

Guide dogs

Guide dogs are welcome, but we ask that wherever possible you notify our staff when making your booking so we are able to allocate suitable seating with adequate space for the dog.
