The Arts Section at Warwick District Council is comprised of Leamington Art Gallery and Museum, Royal Spa Centre, and Leamington Town Hall. The service delivers a wide range of high-quality arts activities with the aim of increasing participation in the arts and ensuring that opportunities for engagement are maximised for visitors and residents of the district.
The Sales and Information Assistant is key in promoting Warwick District to visitors to the Royal Pump Rooms and providing them with a high-quality information service. Maximising revenue by providing an effective ticketing service and processing sales of publications, souvenirs, and merchandise. You will work as part of the Sales and Information team delivering an accurate, efficient, and welcoming service to our customers always.
Ideal candidates will have worked in similar customer facing roles, have experience of cash handling, excellent communication skills, good ICT skills, with an awareness of current technologies and a good general knowledge of the local area and its attractions/facilities.
This role is based at the Royal Pump Rooms in Leamington Spa, with a working pattern of Thursday, Friday 10am - 1pm, Saturday, Sunday 9.45am – 3.15pm (includes a half an hour break), 16 hours per week.
