Taking place at the Royal Spa Centre on Wednesday 15 February, the 2023 symposium for the creative sector is designed to turn creative talk into creative action by bringing together and promoting the growth of the arts and digital industries across Warwick District.

The event will be structured around five core themes: voice, placemaking, pathfinding, engagement, and innovation.

The programme of sessions and talks is currently being developed and will be made available on the Spark website over the coming weeks.

Anyone interested or working in craft, film, TV, video, radio, photography, museums, galleries, performing arts or visual arts, to name a few, is encouraged to apply to attend the event. Primarily focusing on Warwick District, it is open to anyone who wants to find out more about the area’s creative scene and how they can help celebrate, promote, and grow the sector.

David Guilding, Arts Manager at Warwick District Council, said:

“We are delighted to be hosting the Spark Ignite event for the fourth year in a row, following the success of previous symposiums. Last year 338 delegates attended, networked, showcased their talent, and made connections to enhance and grow the sector.”

Councillor Liam Bartlett, Portfolio Holder for Arts and Economy, added:

“We have a wealth of talent right here on our doorstep that we’re proud to support with events such as these, so I’d encourage anyone interested in or currently working in the creative sector to sign up for your ticket today.”

The event is free to attend; for more information and to register, visit Spark:Ignite 2023.
