Public events cancelled due to ongoing pandemic

Kenilworth

The Mayor of Kenilworth, Councillor Richard Dickson, and the Chairman of the Royal British Legion branch, Councillor George Illingworth, will ensure that the wreaths are laid at the War Memorial.

Leamington Spa

The Mayor, Councillor Susan Rasmussen, will lay her wreath at 11am. All other wreath layers have been told to lay their wreaths throughout the day with social distancing observed and in line with national restrictions.

Warwick

Rockets will be set off from Warwick Castle at 11am and 11.02am to signal to the residents of Warwick the beginning and end of the two-minute silence.

The Mayor, Councillor Terry Morris, will lay his wreath at 11am. All other wreath layers have been told to lay their wreaths throughout the day but not before 11.15am.
