With just 48 hours to go, until the final deadline for the government’s grant schemes, we are making a final call to businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Businesses are urged to submit an application before midday this Friday 14 August.

Grant funding of up to £10,000 is available to small businesses operating in Warwick district, including the newly self-employed, who were unable to access the original schemes through the Council’s discretionary programme.

Warwick District Council’s Portfolio Holder for business Councillor Richard Hales commented;

“I would like to stress once again that these payments are grants not loans and we would hate any eligible business to miss out on this lifeline support. I therefore urge business owners, sole traders and the self-employed from all sectors to take action before this deadline passes.”

Applications close at midday on Friday 14 August 2020. All applications made to the Council are subject to checks with a majority of businesses receiving payment within three to five working days.
