Two of Royal Leamington Spa’s most prestigious venues are to be relaunched following refurbishment and the appointment of a new management company.

Warwick District Council has recently invested over £320,000 in restoring the Assembly Rooms and Café in the historic Royal Pump Rooms. At the same time the Council has appointed a local events and catering company Just Inspire to jointly operate the venue along with the Restaurant in the Park in Jephson Gardens with the ambition of re-establishing them as a focal point for the local community.

With 25 years’ experience developed across the UK and Europe, working with the likes of Heston Blumenthal and Chez Roux the team at Just Inspire are aiming to bring the ‘Royal’, back into the Pump Rooms not just for events such as weddings and concerts, but as a special place for family and friends to meet for afternoon teas and Sunday lunches.

Steven Holland, who is the founder of Just Inspire grew up in Leamington and has returned to the area with his family, commented;

“This is a fantastic opportunity to grow two of our town’s most iconic venues. We are particularly keen to increase the amount of community activity in the Assembly Rooms, The Café and The Glasshouse, all of which are versatile spaces for a host of events, celebrations and gatherings. As well as this we believe that by developing daily menus using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, we can soon establish the Royal Pump Rooms and Jephson Gardens as go-to places for lunches, pre-concert drinks and afternoon teas.”

Warwick District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Culture, Councillor Michael Coker commented;

 “The Royal Pump Rooms and Glasshouse are wonderful assets for our town. I am confident that the restoration work we have undertaken and the new partnership we have formed with Just Inspire will put these venues back where they belong at the heart of the new creative quarter and start its reawakening.”
