From 9 to 15 October Leamington Town Hall and the Royal Spa Centre will be illuminated in pink and blue lights each evening to show Warwick district’s support to Baby Loss Awareness Week.

The annual awareness week, now in its 16 year, is an opportunity for bereaved parents, families and friends, to commemorate babies’ lives and break the silence around pregnancy and baby loss in the UK.

Warwick District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Health and Community Protection Councillor Andrew Thompson commented;

“We hope that turning the Royal Spa Centre and Leamington Town Hall pink and blue will spark conversations about baby loss and give local bereaved families the opportunity to share their memories and talk about this often tabooed subject.”

All the buildings and landmarks turning pink and blue for Baby Loss Awareness Week 2018 will be featured on the interactive map and the Facebook photo album.
