Warwick and Stratford-on-Avon District Councils are seeking feedback from the public as they set out their vision and priorities for housing across South Warwickshire.

This is through a new Housing & Homelessness Strategy.

The Strategy will consider housing across South Warwickshire in a broad and joined-up way. This includes future housing need and development, the quality of homes and neighbourhoods, and the support people may need to remain in their current home or move to more suitable accommodation. It will also explore the range of homes available and the role of landlords in both the private and social housing sectors.

In order to gain the views of local residents a public survey has been launched.

Councillor Jess Melrose, Portfolio Holder for Housing at Warwick District Council commented: “We want to hear from people living in the local area and understand the housing issues that matter the most to them. It would therefore be great if as many residents as possible from could take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire.”

The Housing Strategy survey can be completed online with paper copies available at Leamington Town Hall and the Royal Pump Rooms Customer Services Hub, Leamington Spa. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday 11 August.
