Local and voluntary not-for-profit organisations in Warwick District are invited to apply for grant funding to support the vital work they do across the district for residents most in need.
The grants package sets out funding available across four delivery programmes, including third sector support, financial inclusion, employment and digital support as well as social inclusion in targeted areas and communities of interest.
It is intended to support the work they do in strengthening communities, improving wellbeing and addressing challenges such as financial hardship, isolation and access to support services.
Portfolio Holder for Safer, Healthier and Active Communities, Councillor Jim Sinnott says:
“Our voluntary and community sector plays a vital role in supporting residents and strengthening our communities. This grants programme will support local organisations to continue to deliver practical and life-changing support where it is needed most, particularly at a time when many residents are facing real pressures.
"As part of the launch, the Council will host an online grants workshop to help organisations to understand the the funding, eligibility, criteria and application process.”
