Warwick District Council in partnership with Bishop’s Tachbrook Parish Council is aiming to start the construction phase of one of the area’s largest public spaces later this year.

The new 49-hectare (121-acre) Tachbrook Country Park is located within easy access to the new housing developments and schools in Warwick, Whitnash and Bishop’s Tachbrook.

Once fully opened the new park will provide the community with natural play areas for children of all ages, community growing areas and a network of shared cycling and walking paths linking schools and local amenities. There will also be land set aside to support and promote conservation and wildlife.

The Council is inviting local people to come along to two drop-in events. This will be a chance to see the latest designs and talk to members of the project team.
These will be held on:

  • Tuesday 16 June from 3.30pm to 6.30pm at Oakley School, Quercus Way, Bishop’s Tachbrook
  • Saturday 20 June from 9.30am to 12.30pm at Heathcote Community Centre, Cressida Close, Warwick

Councillor Will Roberts, Portfolio Holder for Neighbourhood commented: "We are excited to be moving towards the development stage for the new Tachbrook Country Park. These drop in events are a fantastic opportunity for residents living nearby to view the plans for the site and meet the team involved.”
