Members of the public are invited to share their views on a draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) outlining the masterplan and design code for the proposed King’s Hill development.
Located between Kenilworth and Coventry, the site, allocated in the adopted Warwick District Local Plan, is expected to deliver up to 4,000 new homes and supporting infrastructure by 2050.
The King’s Hill Masterplan and Design Code SPD builds on principles established through approved planning applications and sets out a clear vision for the emerging new neighbourhoods. It aims to secure high-quality architecture and landscape design across the entire site, alongside the coordinated delivery of essential infrastructure including schools, transport links, healthcare provision and community facilities.
Warwick District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Place, Councillor Chris King commented:
“Kings Hill is a large and strategically significant site, and this SPD sets out clear guidance to ensure the creation of a well-planned, sustainable community supported by the necessary infrastructure. I encourage all interested parties to review the document and contribute to shaping the future development of this area.”
The draft Kings Hill Masterplan and Design Code SPD is now subject to public consultation ending on 27 March 2026.
