Warwick District Council’s Corporate Strategy aims to help residents living in its diverse communities to support their own health, safety and wellbeing needs.

This will be achieved through ongoing collaboration and conversation with residents of those communities, allowing them to share their views and input into the council’s decision-making.

The new Community Strategy will look at who needs help, which groups of people might need help and where in particular they are living, so that projects and initiatives can be developed and resources can be directed to the areas which are most in need of support.

To inform the new Community Strategy, the Council is carrying out an engagement and involvement exercise, asking residents for their views. This aims to find out what it is like to live in your community, what’s good about it, what do you get involved in and where are the areas that need additional support.

Councillor Jim Sinnott, Warwick District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Safer, Healthier and Active Communities commented:
“We want to make sure that the Council supports those who need it most in our district. This survey will help us to understand what life is like in your neighbourhood, and whether there are opportunities to improve your quality of life or whether there are certain challenges to that. We can then start to shape our plans to develop projects and initiatives for those who need it; whether that’s for certain neighbourhoods or groups of people and ensure we are helping to improve the lives of all our residents.

This survey is anonymous and should only take you a few minutes, please do complete it.”

The survey is available online here: Your Community Survey

Paper versions are available at the Pump Rooms Customer Service Hub in Leamington Spa, the Library in Kenilworth, the Visitor Centre in Warwick and Whitnash Civic Centre and Library.
