The council has heard from residents, businesses and councillors who shared their views on its polling station review in October 2023.

The council wanted to find out how accessible and convenient the local polling stations are to ensure that everyone who is eligible to vote can do so as easily as possible.

The final proposals have been shared with the council's Audit and Standards Committee on Tuesday 9 January, where they approved the majority of the proposals shared with them.

Chris Elliott, Returning Officer for Warwick District, said:

“We would like to thank all the residents who took the time to complete our review and to suggest alternative locations.

“All of the information gathered through the review will ensure that the polling stations in the District are more accessible to our electors.”
