Councillors have approved the review of polling districts, places and stations in Warwick District, which will start on Monday 2 October 2023.
This review will allow residents to comment on the current polling station they use.
Chris Elliott, Returning Officer for Warwick District, said:
“The review is important to ensure that the polling stations in wards across the district are accessible for all Electors.
“The current review will begin next Monday and will be open to all, giving the electorate a chance to have their say on the current polling stations and provide an opportunity to suggest alternative venues that would better meet the needs of residents.”
All polling districts and places are reviewed at least every five years, and this year’s review will be undertaken from Monday 2 October, and conclude on Friday 22 December 2023.
A survey will be live on the Warwick District Council website from Monday 2 October, for residents to submit comments on the recommendations, and this will close on Friday 10 November.
Paper copies will be available by emailing the council’s Election team at elections@warwickdc.gov.uk or by calling the team on 01926 456105.
