Warwick District Council is giving members of the public the opportunity to view a live stream of the Abbey Fields Swimming Pool update meeting taking place on Wednesday 27 September.
At the event, to be held at St Nicholas Church, representatives from the Council will give an update on the programme following the discovery of extensive unrecorded medieval remains on the site and share details of the decisions that elected members will now need to take on the future of the project.
Warwick District Council’s Leader, Councillor Ian Davison commented:
“Understandably there has been a great deal of local interest in this meeting and with places at the venue having reached capacity, we would like to offer the chance for people to watch the proceedings from home.”
Whilst those watching online will be unable to submit questions to the panel on the night, anyone taking part remotely can email any outstanding comments or queries after the meeting, which will be compiled and shared on the Warwick District Council website.
The Abbey Fields Swimming Pool update meeting can be viewed on the Warwick District Council YouTube channel at 7.30pm on Wednesday 27 September with an accompanying information booklet available to download from the WDC website.
Members of the public who have already booked a place at the meeting and would now prefer to view the broadcast online are requested to cancel their booking on Eventbrite.
