Community Tennis Operator ‘We Do Tennis’ will be serving up 32 hours of free ‘turn up and play’ tennis sessions for adults and juniors at Victoria Park, Christchurch Gardens and St Nicholas Park.

The sessions will be held over the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of the month.

In addition to LTA qualified coaches at each venue, ‘We Do Tennis’ will be supplying all equipment and will have representatives on hand to advise locals who are interested in taking up the sport or playing regularly at the Warwick District Council owned facilities.

Those wishing to take part can book themselves onto an hour-long slot at the following times:

You don’t even need a racket or balls to join the fun.”

For residents who wish to play frequently across the three sites (including Basketball at Christchurch Gardens), We Do Tennis are offering Annual Passes, which allows holders to play for up to 7 hours per week at any of the parks. These are currently on an early bird promo rate of £52 per annum for a household (maximum of 2 adults and 4 children) or £40 for an individual, until 31 May.

Councillor Katie Hunt, Warwick District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Safer Communities, Leisure and Environment added: “This is a great opportunity for local people to come out and enjoy their local tennis courts and find out more about the community programmes and coaching ‘We Do Tennis’ are offering in both Leamington and Warwick.”

Further details about annual passes and playing at the courts at Victoria Park, Christchurch Gardens or St Nicholas Park is available on the ‘We Do Tennis’ website.
