The grant, which is equivalent to £1000 per week, has been allocated from the Council’s 2023/24 budget to support the important work of local food banks in providing essential assistance to those in need.

Andy Bower, Warwick District Foodbank Operations Manager said:

"£1000 per week will enable us to purchase additional food and essential household items as we continue to support the lives of those most in need in our local community who are struggling. This grant will make a real difference and we are delighted that the Council has had the foresight to take this very positive initiative.”
