We have 44 elected councillors, made up from six political groups. 

The political composition of this council is:

• Green Party (15 seats)
• Labour (6 seats)
• Liberal Democrats (10 seats)
• Conservative (5 seats)
• Whitnash Residents Association (Independent) (3 seats)
• Independent (3 seats) 

There is no overall control of the council, however, the Green and Labour Groups have formed a joint administration of the council, with Councillor Davison being appointed as Leader.
