Background

Planning permission for the 49-hectare landmark Tachbrook Country Park between Bishop’s Tachbrook, Whitnash, Leamington Spa and Warwick was approved by Warwick District’s Planning Committee in November 2022.

The new country park is located on the northern valley sides of the Tach Brook and sits within a bowl like landscape which is fairly steeply sloping in parts. Previously, the site has functioned as arable fields.

Over the past few years, parcels of land from this area have been released from their owners to the Council to be pieced together to form the expanse of the country park. This process is now complete, and work is now underway to progress the development of the park.
