You should send three copies of your letter and enclosures to the offices of the Planning Inspectorate, citing the appeal reference number, within six weeks of the start date, as specified on the appeal notification letter. 

If you send comments after the end of time limits the Inspectorate would not normally accept them. Instead they would be returned and the Inspector would not take them into account.
