How do I make an application for a Lawful Development Certificate?
You need to complete either the form for an existing or a proposed development. See the links below for forms. You can also telephone us on 01926 456536 and we will send out the necessary forms to you. Any application must have a completed and signed application form, the appropriate fee and any necessary drawings or information to support your case. You always need to clearly identify the site with a suitable site plan, describe exactly what you are applying for and provide clear precise and unambiguous evidence to support your claim. It is not the job of the Council to find out information to support your application. Whilst the Council may have its own land use and other records, they will be used by the Council to either support or reject your claim to a certificate.
