Description

The project aims for the standards of the retrofit to achieve PAS 2030 and PAS 2035. To achieve this standard, a Retrofit Assessment has to be carried out by other sub-contractors. An allowance was made in the bid for the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor and these Retrofit Assessors

Reason for exemption

market testing found that Bierce is the only Company that can carry out this type of Retrofit Assessment to meet the standards required. The Government is aware of a shortage of Retrofit Assessors and is such allocating grant funding towards further training in this area.
