Description

Horizon Specialist Contracting Ltd were procured in 2013 for a 10 year contract to provide inpecstions, repairs and maintenance of the installed lightning protection equipment. Total contract value was £40k

Reason for exemption

Due to additional annual compliance checks required, following post Grenfell works to housing blocks, we have now overspent on the initial contract valuation. The existing contract had a year to run. We require the works to continue in order to be compliant for the remaining term of the contract until we can carry out a full procurement process in 2023.
