Description
Once you find this large, rare tree it is best seen from the path by the glasshouse where you can admire its height. No wonder the neighbouring trees are still small despite being quite old. Also known as the Persian Oak, it has large typical oak leaves. Like the wingnut it comes from the Caucasus Mountain region, bordering Eastern Europe and Western Asia.
