The maps in this directory show the grass verges or areas proposed for inclusion in No Mow May 2025. They have been selected based on their size and/or existing or potential biodiversity value.
The maps are taken from our grounds maintenance database, with verges/areas shown in yellow, green or purple to indicate the type of grass cut they receive or their land ownership.
For example, yellow verges/areas represent Warwickshire County Council highways land; purple verges/areas are Warwick District Council housing land; green verges/areas receive an amenity grass cut.
A bright pink/purple line has been drawn around the perimeter of each verge/area proposed for inclusion in No Mow May 2025. To ensure road safety, we will continue mowing a strip of grass (approx. 1m wide) around the perimeter of these verges/areas throughout May.
