The developed design for the new park has been completed and the formal procurement process begun- making way for construction of the new Tachbrook Country Park to start later this year. This milestone brings us closer to creating one of the district’s largest shared green spaces.

The new 49-hectare amenity will connect new neighbourhoods and communities to Oakley School and other public facilities planned for the area. The country park will provide accessible, sustainable green space and an array of public benefits for all ages, including a new network of paths connected to existing footpaths and cycleways, play areas, habitats for wildlife and food growing areas.

Construction of Tachbrook Country Park is planned to be completed in 2027.

Until work is completed the public is strongly advised not to enter the land as parts of the area are unsafe underfoot, especially for young children.
