The royal roll call welcomeHi! I’m Lewis Roll, but you can call me ‘Lou’.

You may recognise me from the Royal Spa Centre’s annual Pantomime – where I regularly feature in the ‘12 Days of Panto’ song, along with my 4 siblings… “five toilet rolls!”

Anyway, enough about me!

I’m super excited to say that we’re running a competition!

Create your own ‘Lou Roll’ pantomime character by drawing or collaging onto this blank roll.

Send photographs of your character to spa.marketing@warwickdc.gov.uk or pop this sheet into the Box Office at the Royal Pump Rooms.

Our panto cast will choose their favourite – and the winning artist will receive 4 FREE tickets to next year’s panto (2026/7)!

Feeling super-creative? Build your own ‘Lou Roll’ pantomime character?!

Send photographs of your final character to spa.marketing@warwickdc.gov.uk or bring your 'Lou Roll' character into the Box Office at the Royal Pump Rooms.

You Will Need

  • 1 Toilet roll
  • Pens or crayons
  • Googly eyes (or paper eyes)
  • Pipe cleaners of string/wool
  • Glue
  • Scissors

Always ask an adult to help with scissors and glue

1. Draw the Face

  • Glue on the googly eyes (or draw your own). Draw a mouth, nose or any other features.

2. Add Arms

  • Cut a pipe cleaner in half
  • Ask an adult to help poke small holes in the sides of the roll.
  • Push pipe cleaner pieces through to make arms

3. Add Legs

  • Cut another pipe cleaner in half.
  • Glue or tape the pieces inside the bottom of the roll so they hang down as legs.

4. Decorate

  • Wrap paper, card, or fabric around the roll to make clothes.
  • Use wool and string to make hair / paper to make a hat.

5. Let It Dry

  • Leave your character to dry.

Terms and Conditions

1. Competition Deadline

  • The competition closes at 5pm on 10 January 2026. Any entries received after this date cannot be accepted.

2. Winner Selection

  • The winner will be chosen shortly after the closing date and contacted directly using the details provided.

3. Prize

  • The prize is four (4) tickets to the 2026–27 Panto at the Royal Spa Centre.
  • No cash alternative is available.
  • Tickets are non-transferable and may only be used for the 2026–27 production.

4. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to young people, but all entries must be submitted by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult aged 18 or over.
  • We cannot accept personal details from anyone under 18.

5. Entries

  • Multiple entries per family are allowed.
  • Entries may be submitted as photographs of the character or by handing in the physical toilet roll character at the Royal Spa Centre.

6. Use of Images

  • By submitting a photograph or handing in a physical character, you give Warwick District Council permission to photograph, display, and share images of the creation for marketing, social media, or publicity purposes relating to the competition or the Royal Spa Centre.

7. Data Protection

  • Any personal data provided will be used only for the purpose of administering this competition.
  • Your information will not be added to marketing lists unless you give explicit permission.
  • All data will be handled in accordance with Warwick District Council’s Data Protection and GDPR policies

8. Selection Panel

  • The winner will be chosen by a panel made up of members of the 2025–26 panto cast and members of the Arts Section team at Warwick District Council. Their decision is final.

9. General Conditions

  • Warwick District Council reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition if necessary.
  • By submitting an entry, the adult entering on behalf of the young person confirms that they agree to these Terms & Conditions.
