What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. RSS feeds bring you automatic updates when a website adds new content. You'll need a news reader to get RSS feeds. It's also called a feed reader, an RSS reader or an aggregator. The BBC website contains an explanation of RSS as well as details of news readers.
