Lunch is on us!
We are delighted to welcome back Mookies Indian Street Food following overwhelmingly positive feedback from previous events.
The first 200 delegates will be provided with a lunch token on arrival.
This year, Mookie and his team are providing samosa chaat, which is a popular Indian street food dish that transforms crispy, deep-fried samosas into a Savory, tangy, and spicy snack by smothering them in chickpea curry (chole), yogurt, and various chutneys. It is a staple of North Indian cuisine, specifically Punjab, and is often served hot, making it a comforting and flavourful appetizer.
Key Components
- Samosas: The base consists of crushed or broken vegetable samosas.
- Chole/Chickpeas: A spiced chickpea curry (chole) is poured over the samosas.
- Chutneys: A combination of sweet tamarind chutney and spicy mint-coriander chutney is drizzled on top.
- Yogurt: Whisked, sweetened, or seasoned yogurt (Dahi) adds a creamy, cooling element.
- Garnish: Common toppings include finely chopped red onions, cilantro (coriander leaves), pomegranate pearls, chaat masala, and fine sev (crunchy gram flour noodles).
