Swimming pool update

April 2026

We are now starting to move into the final phase of the swimming pool project. Over the next month, we will be removing the hoarding around the site and replacing it with heras fencing.

There will be some temporary disruption to the park during this time, including periods where we will need to close off sections of the play area and duck feeding area.

The temporary toilets will also be removed from early April, and there will be no toilet provision in the park until the swimming pool opens.

The facility will include:

  • Additional family indoor pool and outdoor sun terrace
  • A moveable floor in the family pool to alter the water depth and direct access via a hoist from a fully accessible changing room
  • Direct pool access via a hoist from a ‘Changing Place’ facility for the disabled, the first of its kind in the District.
Attractive conservatory style café for park and pool visitors
  • New, larger changing rooms with family friendly facilities
  • New, bright and fresh entrance area and reception with views over the park

Sustainability

Given the climate emergency declared by Warwick District Council in June 2019, the reduction of carbon emissions and use of sustainable materials has been a key driver in these projects.
