Parish and Town Councils - CIL
Parish and Town Councils play an important role in making use of Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) funding to spend on local priorities to meet the needs of the development. They receive a proportion of all the CIL receipts arising in their area (15%-25%). The District Council is working closely with Parish and Town Councils to ensure they receive their percentage of CIL in a timely manner and to coordinate how and where receipts are spent.
