What to see and do
There is lots to see and do in the park and nearby for the whole family:
- Play area - ideal for children up to the age of 12.
- Paddling pool - Open daily 10m to 6pm. Visitors are advised to wear non-slip pool shoes and not exceed the maximum capacity of 70 as this may impact the performance of the water features. - Funfair - roundabouts, games and bouncy castles for children
- Golf - 18-green adventure golf and 9-hole crazy golf
- Boating - hire rowing boats and motor boats from the boat house by Castle Bridge
- Cafe - popular and open all year round
- Skate park and BMX track

- Orienteering - there are two permanent Octavian Droobers orienteering courses at the park
- St Nicholas Park Leisure Centre – 80 station fitness suite, swimming pool, sports hall, climbing wall and floodlit AstroTurf pitch.
- Level grass for ball games, jogging and kite-flying.
- Flowers – colourful formal flowerbeds, sustainable planting and unusual trees
- River – stroll along the river and look at the swans
- The boating, café, golf and rides are not run by Warwick District Council. Please go to the St Nicholas Park website to find out when these attractions are open.
Kingfisher Pool
Kingfisher Pool is a unique members-only fishing venue in Warwick, providing opportunities for junior anglers, older people and disabled residents to enjoy fishing in a welcoming and accessible environment. The pool offers coaching and drop-in sessions throughout the year, helping people of all abilities to develop their fishing skills while enjoying the benefits of spending time outdoors. The site is also a haven for wildlife, creating an attractive natural setting for visitors and members alike. Following the arrival of an invasive weed in Kingfisher Pool, every February a safe dye is added to the water to stop light penetrating and allowing the weed to grow. This follows a consultation with the Environment Agency. The dye is completely harmless to all flora and fauna.
