Project information

Castle Farm has been used as a skate area for many years, and the current improvement plan builds on earlier work led by local skaters and community partners. Earlier proposals were shaped through the Kenilworth Community Forum, where young people aged 10 to 18 shared ideas for how the space could be extended and improved.

Both project briefs show a long-running ambition to replace the older installation with a safer, better-equipped and more inclusive facility, while also responding to issues such as lighting, local disturbance and the need for consultation with nearby residents. The project is not starting from scratch; it is the next chapter in a community-backed effort to create a skate space that reflects how Castle Farm is used today.

Castle Farm skate area is a community-focused project to develop an inclusive, well-designed skate space that meets Kenilworth's sports and wellbeing needs. The project is shaped through a mix of input from skate area users, local residents, users of all ages, and community groups.
