If you would like to apply for a home in this district - this may be rented housing, shared ownership or low cost housing schemes - you will need to register on the Warwick District HomeChoice scheme.

How the HomeChoice scheme works

You need to fill in an Application form to join the housing register.
Once you have submitted your application form it will be processed and you will receive a letter with details of your banding once that has been done. There is no need to contact us until you receive the banding letter but once you receive it you will be able to log-in to the website and bid on properties.
Logging-in and bidding for the first time
You will need your user number to create an account. This is the number we send you when you first register on HomeChoice. Please keep this number safe. To create an account enter your user number and personal details and set a password. Your password must contain at least one number and one capital letter, and be six or more characters long.
If you lose or forget your user number please email us and we will send you a letter in the post. Alternatively you can call into any one of our offices with identification and we will give you your user number again. Please keep this number safe.
There is an option to re-set your password if you forget it. You will need to enter your user number and personal details and set a new password. Your password must contain at least one number and one capital letter, and be six or more characters long.
Current properties and bidding
- Anyone can browse the current property list
- If you are already registered then you can bid online for a property
If you want to know more details about a property that is advertised please contact the landlord of the property whose details are contained in the advert. Warwick District Council will not be able to provide you with specific details or locations of properties advertised by partner organisations on HomeChoice.
The current policy was introduced in 2016 and a review of how it has been working has been carried out. As a result the Council agreed a number of changes to the working of HomeChoice which took effect from 8th August 2018.
