In June 2018, work began to restore the Pump Room Gardens back to their original glory as part of Royal Leamington Spa’s fabulous Spa Gardens, alongside Jephson’s Gardens and Victoria Park.
The £1.4m project included almost £1m from the Heritage Lottery Fund Parks for People programme, with further contributions from the Friends of the Pump Room Gardens and Warwick District Council.
The project focused on restoring the Victorian bandstand and reinstating key features from the 19th century, including planting, benches and paths, as well as a reinterpretation of the original Rain Garden.
