We have been awarded £1.7m by Government to support businesses across the district, that were ineligible for other Covid-19 Government grants including Small Business Grants Fund and the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grants fund.
This strand of the discretionary fund is exclusively for those businesses who did not qualify for the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grants fund, as their rateable value (RV) exceeded £51,000. Therefore, to qualify your business must fall into one of the above mentioned sectors and your RV must be greater than £51,000 but not exceed £125,000.
Successful applicants will receive a grant £10,000. It is advisable that eligible businesses make their applications immediately. This is a very short application window, which will strictly close at midday on 14 August 2020.
