The Warm Homes Local Grant scheme is coming soon!

Who is it for?

The scheme is aimed at private properties. To be eligible for the funding, applicants need to:

  • Own and live in your home, or rent it privately as a tenant, within Warwick District; and
  • Have a gross household income of £36,000 or less per year OR live in an eligible postcode area OR are on means tested benefits and
  • Live in a home that has an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rating of D, E, F or G

Eligible benefits include Housing Benefit, Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA), Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), Income Support, Pension Credit and Universal Credit

Eligible postcodes are in areas of Indices of Multiple Deprivation (IMD), scoring points 1 to 2 and the list of these postcodes will be made available upon launch of the scheme and are determined by the funder, the Department for Energy, Security & Net Zero

What measures will be available?

  • Solar photovoltaic panels and battery storage
  • Air source heat pumps
  • Loft insulation
  • Cavity wall insulation
  • Smart heating controls
  • External wall insulation

The energy efficiency improvement(s) will be carried out by a reputable Trustmark registered contractor.
