Stratford District Council and Warwick District Council have teamed up with Warwickshire Wildlife Trust through the Wilder Communities Scheme to help local communities and landowners create greener, more wildlife-friendly spaces.

What support is available?

• Trees, hedgerows, wildflower seeds and bulbs provided
• Expert advice and planning support
• Help selecting suitable planting schemes
• Practical support with planting and sowing activities

Suitable spaces include:

• School and nursery grounds
• Churchyards and cemeteries
• Playing fields and recreation grounds
• Parks and shared green spaces
• Village greens and verges
• Community centres and halls
• Allotments
• Social housing green spaces
