Competition schedule announced

As the countdown continues to Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, organisers have released a new schedule for the sporting events which will be taking place with the Lawn and Para Lawn Bowls taking place between Friday 29 July – Saturday 6 August and the Cycling Road Races on Sunday 7 August.

There will be 286 sessions across 19 different sports with 283 medal events over two full weekends of the games with more para and women’s sport than ever before.

St Nicholas Park will host the start and finish of the road cycling events

Approximately 160 cyclists from across the Commonwealth will take part in the men’s and women’s Road Race events. St Nicholas Park, set in 64 acres of stunning landscape with views of the world-famous Warwick Castle, will provide a picturesque backdrop for the two races.
