- collapsed or badly damaged river banks;
- flooding from main rivers;
- main rivers blocked by a vehicle or fallen tree causing risk of flooding;

Flood Re is a joint Government and insurance industry initiative to enable you to find affordable insurance for qualifying properties that are at risk of flooding or have been flooded. For details about the scheme and eligibility visit the Flood Re website.
Support for farmers
Government opens fund to support farmers affected by flooding.
The fund will support farmers who suffered uninsurable damage to their land due to flooding earlier this year with grants of between £500 and £25,000
