Council housing in Warwick district

The provision of council housing is a major way in which we aim to meet the housing need in the district. On 1st April 2010 the Council owned 5,640 properties for rent.

The Housing department is responsible for the letting and management of these homes and provides a range of services to their tenants.

The properties themselves are very varied. Spread throughout the district, with concentrations in the towns, they range from bedsits and flats to houses and bungalows. Some are specialist homes adapted for the needs of disabled tenants or let specifically to older people.
