Bin collections are changing from August 2022.

Please recycle all of the items below in your blue lidded bin.

Recycling accepted

  • Plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays
  • Glass jars and bottles
  • Tins, clean cans, clean foil and aerosols
  • Clean, dry paper and card
  • Tetra Pak and cartons

Place next to your bin in a bag

  • Textiles, household batteries and small electrical items

Recycling not accepted

  • Food waste
  • Black bags and general rubbish
  • Plastic film from food containers
  • Nappies

Top tips for using your blue bin

  • Your recyclables must be put in the bin loose - DO NOT bag.
  • Excess recycling can be collected if placed loose in a cardboard box or rigid container next to your blue lidded bin.

How to use your blue bin

1. Rinse your recyclable items and flatten your cardboard.

2. Put all of your clean, dry recycling in your blue lidded bin.

3. Put your blue lidded bin and any separately bagged textiles, household batteries and small electrical items at your property boundary by 6am on your collection day.
